A professional designation for financial planners after taking and passing a series of national exams administered and accredited by the College for Financial Planning. The program consists of six separate parts, each of which is a three-hour written examination.

Chubb & Son, Inc. was recognized as the recipient of the AIMS Society’s 2006 President’s Award. This award is given periodically to recognize outstanding contributions to the AIMS Society organization.
Martin A. Lebson, CPIA, AAI, ARM of Capacity Coverage of New Jersey, Inc. nominated Wallace Gardner of Chubb & Son for offering the Certified Professional Insurance Agent designation program to a group of forty-eight new Chubb agents in Shanghai, China. Lilian Bow, a member of Chubb’s training team, translated the CPIA curriculum into Mandarin Chinese and successfully conducted the training.Finance and Insurance Products dealerships
Company Partner of the Year AwardPA Business Insurance
The AIMS Society’s 2006 Company Partner of the Year award was presented to St. Paul Travelers. This award is designed to honor an insurance carrier that creates revolutionary and exciting programs that provide agents with tools for success.
St. Paul Travelers was nominated by Richard Dygve, CPIA, CIC of Johnson & Strachan Insurance Agency for their outstanding small business / select accounts programs. St. Paul Travelers’ work with a large franchise restaurant initiative was the specific program praised by Dygve as providing agents with tools for business development success.
Innovation in Sales & Technology Award Recognizing the need to enhance sales through technology within the automated agency environment, the AIMS Society developed a new award to recognize the Carrier, Vendor or Agency that demonstrates a commitment to technology that enhances the insurance sales process. Westfield Insurance was recognized by the AIMS Society as the 2006 Innovation in Sales and Technology award winner. Keith Savino, CPIA of Warwick Resource Group in Warwick, New York submitted Westfield Insurance for consideration.
Brady Polansky, CPCU, CIC, Agency Operations Director for Westfield Insurance, was present to accept the award. “Westfield is committed to providing practical automation solutions for our agents to make it easier to write our business. At Westfield, we understand our agent's desire to start and finish within their agency management system, and we are constantly working to make more of this functionality available for our agents to use,” stated Polansky. Further, Polansky explained that “via Applied/Transformation station and AMS/TransactNOW, Westfield agents are able to perform real-time billing, claims and loss run inquiries and automated website sign on directly from their management system, eliminating the need to navigate to our website, login and search for the desired content.” Capitalizing on these efficiencies allows producers and account managers more time to interact with clients and enhance the insurance-buying experience for consumers.
The 19th Annual PRO-to-PRO Executive Retreat held by the AIMS Society on March 2-4, 2006 in San Antonio, Texas commemorated 38 years of professionalism and excellence in insurance sales and marketing. This Retreat was filled with terrific networking opportunities and innovative sales and marketing panel discussions.
