Interlocutory Appeal Definition
A trial court ruling is appealed before the trial itself has concluded. Such an appeal is asking the appellate court to review an aspect of the case before the trial has concluded.
The following letter from our reader, Henry Meister, addresses an age-old problem:

General Star Management CompanyMaybe it's just me, but ...I need a market for something and log on to your site accordingly, look things up and then start mass e-mailing to everybody inquiring if they're licensed in the my state and if they're a market for something in particular.

How about turning this thing around and creating some kind of agent template that gives some basic who, what, where, when & why that I can fill out, send in to your server and have you either send it out to your storefronts or post it somewhere where all the storefronts and/or other interested parties can look at it and get back to me. This would seem more effective to me. It would almost be like that online loan thing where you post your info and the banks compete. Does this make any sense?
Peachtree Special Risk Brokers, LLCI have business that I need to place. I need markets. You have all these markets that supposedly want business but ...?????

P.O. Box 1226Chehalis, WA firstname.lastname@example.orgEditor: We are currently investigating the possibility of creating a more interactive means for agents and markets to get together a little easier.
In the interim, when doing a search be sure to define the state in which you are seeking coverage. If you don't get the results you need, broaden your search to see if any existing markets are willing to consider writing in your state.
We are constantly updating and revising the information within our database to provide the most current information on available markets. Although we are limited by the specific information provided by the markets, a market search is the most efficient way to begin seeking providers for coverages you need.
